Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie
A chocolate cookie with 4 kinds of chocolate
1 C. SOFTENED BUTTER
1/3 C. BUTTER FLAVOR CRISCO
1/3 C. NUTELLA
1 C. SUGAR
1 C. BROWN SUGAR
1 TSP VANILLA
1 C. ALL PURPOSES FLOWER
1 C. CAKE FLOUR
2 1/2 C. OATMEAL---REDUCED TO FLOUR LIKE POWDER BLENDER OR FOOD PROCESSOR WORKS WELL
1 TSP SODA
1/2 TSP SALT
1 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 HERSHEY SYMPHONY BAR - PLAIN GRATED, OR ANY OTHER LARGE CHOCOLATE BAR
12 OZ OF MILK CHOCOLATE CHITS
12 OZ OF SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 1/2 CHOPPED PEACANS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cream together the first 5 ingredients until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing to combine, then add the vanilla.
Sift together the flours, soda, salt and baking powder.
Add in thirds to the butter, sugar and egg mixture.
Mix on low speed to combine.
Add the powdered oatmeal and the grated chocolate bar.
Mix to combine.
Add the chocolate chips and the chopped pecans.
Mix to combine.
At this point the batter will be very heavy. You may have to mix the chips and nuts in by hand depending on the power of your mixer.
Form into balls a little smaller than a golf ball. I use a 10oz ice cream scoop.
Place about 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Enjoy!
I like a chewy cookie so I tend to bake on the short time in the oven.
The oven and the type of cookie sheet will also have an effect on the baking.
These are delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
