Vote for your favorite student athlete to determine the winner of the FAN FAVORITE award at the Varsity Cup banquet on June 5, 2012, 6 p.m. at the Ambassador Center, Peach Street and I90.
You can vote once per day until 4 p.m. on Friday, May 25. The top three vote-getters will be invited to the second annual Varsity
Cup Awards banquet June 5, where the winner will be introduced
alongside all the Varsity Cup honorees. Good luck to all 10 initial
finalists, who were selected by the Times-News sports staff.
$20 for adults; $15 students

The Varsity Cup, a 27-inch tall trophy, will be presented to the high
school whose various sports teams have accumulated the most points in
District 10-only competition during the school year. The six teams from
each District 10 member school that score the most points will count
toward the final Varsity Cup standings. The winning school will retain
the Varsity Cup in its trophy case for one year, until the next
banquet. The base of the Varsity Cup will be engraved each year with
the winning program's name.
This year's banquet will feature keynote speaker Bruce Baumgartner.
