Congratulations to the 2013 Troop of Distinction Award Winner!
The Troop of Distinction will be honored at the annual Awards of Distinction luncheon on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie.
Nominations were open through March 18.
Nominees for the Troop of Distinction Award must meet each of the following criteria:
- Represent the ideals inherent in Girl Scouting through their participation in and commitment to:
- Community Service
- Personal Development/Leadership
- Academics
- Demonstrate integrity and leadership characteristics
- Emulate a healthy life style for themselves and others
Eligibility
- Open to all Girl Scout troops registered in Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania
- No entry fee
- Entries must be submitted online using the official online entry form.
- Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM March 18, 2013
- Troops from Cameron, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Potter, Venango and Warren counties are encouraged to participate.
Online Voting
The public will have an opportunity to vote for the Troop of Distinction from March 20 - April 15.
